1. Definition: The
Word "Society" Wherever Mentioned Means "Vedic Vishva Humanity
Cultural & Welfare Society"
2. Jurisdiction:
The Jurisdiction Of The Association Shall Be A1l Over India.
3. Financial Year:
The Financial Year of The Association Shall Be 1stApril To 31st March of Every
Year.
4. Membership And
Procedure To Admit Members:
(1) Membership- Any
Indian Citizen or a person of Indian Origin, above 18 years, subscribing to the
aims and objects of the Society, not an insolvent and of unsound mind, must not
have been convicted of any offence and willing for membership, his application shall
be put before management committee for consideration & approval.
(2) Membership Fee
& One-time donation :

(ii) Admission
Processing fee - Rs.50
iii. Active Life
member –
(i) Membership

donation - Rs. 1,000/-
(3) Admission
Procedure :
1. An individual
has to apply in prescribed form to the Secretary, duly signed and recommended
by a regular member of the society.
2. The Central
Managing Committee may accept or reject the application without assigning any
reason and the decision of the Central Managing Committee in this regard shall
be final.
5. Types Of
Members:
The Society will
have three categories of members-
(1) Special
Members: They are the Members of the society for one year term, to be extended
on one year basis, till, he ceases to be a member.
These members will
be part of the body to discuss various charitable/cultural activities, receive
information’s about activities, discussions, decisions etc. of the society, can
give suggestions for decision by the Active Members & Active Life Members,
can actively participate as volunteers. They cannot vote, cannot participate in
elections and cannot hold any office bearer posts.
(2) Active Members:
They are Members of the society for one year term, to be extended on one year
basis, till, he ceases to be a member.
These members will
be part of the body to discuss & decide various charitable/cultural
activities, receive information’s about every activity, discussion, decision
etc. of the society, can give suggestions, can participate in discussions for
decision making, can vote to finalize any decision, can actively participate as
volunteers, can vote in elections but cannot hold any office.
(3) Active Life
Members: They are Members of the society for life, till, he ceases to be a
member.
These members will
be part of the body to discuss & decide various charitable/cultural
activities, receive information’s about every activity, discussion, decision
etc. of the society, can give suggestions, can participate in discussions for
decision making, can vote to finalize any decision, can actively participate as
volunteers, can vote in elections as well as can hold any office.
6. Ceasing To Be A
Member:
(i) A member ceases
to be a member due to death or insanity of the member.
(ii) A member
ceases to be a member after acceptance of his resignation.
(iii) A member
ceases to be a member when acting against interests of the Society, or,
convicted under law, or, expelled by Central General Body resolution by two
third majority.
(iv) A member
(except Active Life Members) ceases to be a member when his subscription is in
arrears for more than six months.
7. General Meeting,
Its Powers And Functions:
(1) Central General
Body -
i. Every member
shall be a member of the Central General Body of the Society.
ii. Eligible
members shall cast his vote in person. However, Central General Body can also
approve appropriate electronic media, social media for voting and no proxy
voting shall be allowed.
(2) Meetings of the
Central General Body-
i. A meeting of the
Central General Body of the society will be held as and when required. However,
at least one meeting of the Central General Body of the society, called as the
Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in a year, at the earliest, after
closing of the financial year.
ii. Central General
Body may approve members to join meeting via Electronic Media, video
conferencing etc. also.
iii.The Central
Managing Committee of the society may convene an extra-ordinary meeting of the
Central General Body of the society at any time after giving due notices as per
approved procedure.
(3) Powers,
Functions & Duties of the Central General Body-
i. To approve
procedures for activities, guide the Society for determining & fulfilling
its aims and objects as per Society Act & Rules.
ii. To decide
policy matters, to approve budget for next year, to approve yearly accounts of
the society.
iii.To approve for
disposal of immoveable assets of the society etc. and all such other acts as
may be required under the applicable Society Act & Rules.
iv.To elect the
members of the Central Managing Committee.
v. To remove any
member from the Central Managing Committee and accord approval to the
continuation of a person appointed as a member of the Central Managing
Committee against a casual vacancy.
vi.To approve
formation/dissolution of subordinate bodies for proper functioning of the
society at State/District/Locality/Activity center levels etc. and
appoint/terminate Managing Committees for them.
vii. To approve
formation/dissolution of honorary Advisory bodies, appoint/terminate honorary
Associate Persons to help Managing Committee, to appoint/terminate honorary
Internal Financial Auditors etc. for proper functioning of the Society.
viii. To appoint
Chartered Accountant for statutory Audit of the Society.
8. Notice And
Quorum Of General Meeting:
(1) Notice for the
Central General Body-
i. Under
instructions of President, the General Secretary of the Central Managing
Committee of the society may convene a meeting of the Central General Body of
the society at any time, after giving due notice, either of its own or within
30 days of receipt of a written requisition along with reasons for convening
such meeting, from at least 1/10th of the Active/Life members of the General
Body.
ii. 15 days’ notice
will be given for Central General Body meeting.
(2) Quorum for the
Central General Body-
i. Quorum for the
meeting of the Central General Body will be 2/3rdof the Active/Life members.
ii. In case there
is no quorum, the meeting will be adjourned for half an hour, and then the
meeting will again take place and the Active/Life members attending will form
the quorum.
9. Special Meetings
And Its Functions:
1. Annual General
Body Meeting for Central General Body-
(i) An annual
general body meeting will be held once in every calendar year.
(ii) Notice of
minimum 15 days to be given by circular to all the eligible Members of the
Society.
(iii) The President
will chair all the General Body Meetings. If the President is absent, then
Vice-President will act as Chairman and if Vice President is also absent, then
one of the available office bearer/Life member will chair the meeting who are
named sequentially as- General Secretary, Treasurer, Joint Secretary or senior
most Life Member.
(iv) Annual report
of the activities of the Society will be presented by the General Secretary at
the General Body Meeting.
(v) The accidental
omission in sending meeting-notice to any member or the non-receipt of the
notice of a meeting by any member shall not invalidate the proceedings of any such
meeting.
10. Managing
Committee And Its Constitution:
(1) Central
Managing Committee-
(i) Composition-
The Central Managing Committee of the society shall consist of a total of 5
(Five) Office-bearers and 16 members, elected for 3 (Three) year term by the
Central General Body, through all India election, with bar of getting elected
not more than two consecutive times, and also after contesting election two
times, there will be intervening cooling period for next term. These are as
given below:
i. President - 1
ii. Vice President-

Secretary - 1
iv.Treasurer - 1
v. Joint Secretary
- 1
vi.Member -16
Total shall be
minimum 7 and maximum 21 members First management committee will be of 7
members.
(ii) Cessation of
Members of the Managing Committees An office-bearer of the Managing Committees
shall cease to be an office-bearer:
i. upon acceptance
of his resignation, or, if he ceases to be a member;
ii. if removed by a
resolution passed by the Central General Body when he fails to carry out his
functional activities for Six consecutive months or due to any other serious
charges.
11. Tenure Of
Managing Committee And Procedure Of Election:
(1) Tenure- Tenure
of Managing Committee will be 3 (Three) years.
(2) Procedure of
Election of Managing Committee-
(i) The President
will declare the Schedule of Elections, form the Election committee and appoint
the Central Returning Officer.
(ii) Postponement
of the election shall be decided by the Central General Body meeting.
(iii) Central
Returning Officer shall conduct elections.
(iv) The members
eligible to vote will be allowed to cast their vote in person by secret ballot.
(v) Central General
Body can also approve voting through appropriate Electronic media, social media
and can approve procedures for the same.
(vi) After
declaration of poll results, Central Returning Officer will declare the newly
formed Central Managing Committee.
